What is considered to be obese?
If a person’s body weight is at least 20% higher than it should be, he or she is considered obese. BMI under 18.5 – is considered very underweight and possibly malnourished, 18.5-24.9 – you have a healthy weight range for young and middle-aged adults.If your Body Mass Index (BMI) is between 25 and 29.9 you are considered overweight.
